Responsible Master Plumber (RMP), Master Plumbing License

Lorne Neu is the eponymous founder of Neu Plumbing Inc., a well-known and prolific commercial plumbing company in North Texas.

As a native Texan, Lorne has witnessed first-hand the transformation of the Texas hinterland into the fastest-growing state according to statistics released by the U.S. Census Bureau in May 23, 2019. Naturally, demand for innovative plumbing solutions in the region has skyrocketed and Lorne has established a company that meets those needs whilst adhering to consistent and uncompromising levels of integrity.

Lorne, an industry pioneer, enriches Neu Plumbing with a wealth of knowledge and expertise. 35 years of experience as a licensed plumber led to the management of multimillion-dollar HVAC and Plumbing projects, focusing upon K-12 school construction and renovation.

Lorne has mastered Plan & Specification work in the course of supervising over (500?) construction projects in the North Texas region, including Institutional, Retail and Light Commercial facilities. Lorne holds the Responsible Master License for Neu Plumbing.

Lorne grew up on farm in Lindsay TX where he honed his work ethic and gained an appreciation for the expression "a job well done". Lorne practices what he preaches; he is a perfectionist and emphasizes the importance of "getting things done right the first time and meeting commitments on time."

Lorne spends his spare time competing in car shows with his 1966 C-10 Chevy pickup and camping and riding SxSs with family and friends.

Tim, an entrepreneurial senior-level executive with over 28 years of experience in all types of heating/cooling and plumbing equipment is also familiar with operational management, building/design techniques, preventative maintenance and electrical planning.

A long career in the industry has enabled Tim to quickly evaluate the heating/cooling and plumbing requirements of a building while never losing sight of client needs. Tim is articulate and finds it easy to communicate his vision to clients after which he helps achieve timely project fruition by following long-established methods. His colleagues recognize his quest for excellence and respond enthusiastically to his inspirational leadership.

Tim holds the State of Texas combination HVAC license for Neu Plumbing; this hard-won license is especially valuable to Tim in light of his early beginnings as a high school senior, working beside his father in the 5th generation family business. He remembered proudly the years spent honing his craft in the Petroleum, Pharmaceutical, Correctional and Institutional fields.

Tim enjoyed working with national General Contractors as an MEP Coordinator before joining the NEU team. He was recognized for his ability to understand the demands and challenges faced by the owners and clients of these organizations. Tim and Lorne have worked together for over 15 years during which time they have carefully built their present-day, highly-accomplished NEU Plumbing team.

Tim and his wife of twenty-two years are the proud parents of two children and live in the North Texas area. His favorite pastime is lively participation in Dallas Stars festivities.

Master Plumbing License

Brad Reiter is the Vice President of NEU Plumbing. He has more than two decades of commercial/industrial experience and is responsible for developing market growth strategies and ensuring that safety standards are met. Brad possesses a unique understanding of the application and developmental side of construction and design. It is incumbent upon Brad to be familiar with emerging technologies as they relate to NEU's clients as well as to future opportunities. Brad networks daily with corporate affiliates and is well versed in owner advocacy topics.

In their early days, Lorne and Brad worked together as plumbing specialists in the North Texas area and it soon became evident that there was a need for a high-quality plumbing company which could specialize in commercial plumbing. Recognizing the compatibility of their working styles they decided to form NEU Plumbing.

Brad's unique knowledge of feasibility, schematic design and design development have made him an invaluable member of the team. He prepares contract documents for use prior to and during project execution and is the go-to source for industry "know-how" and time-saving tips. Brad is well known for his ability to listen to clients, establish their needs and to ensure a smooth construction process. His constant efforts inevitably produce lasting relationships and repeat business.

Brad grew up in Gainesville on the family dairy farm where he learned the value of hard work and integrity. He holds numerous certifications including confined space, OSHA 10, CSST Gas Piping and Commercial Vacuum Systems.

Brad passions include classic car restoration and his wife (naturally) with whom he enjoys mountain biking and boating.

Ronnie Prescher joins NEU Plumbing as a Safety Director, where he applies his analytic expertise to produce data driven safety campaigns. Ronnie's 25-year career spans Agriculture, Oil & Gas and Construction, allowing him to master key characteristics of management and strategic safety planning.

Ronnie's role at NEU is to proactively direct, develop and oversee the general health and safety policies and procedures of the organization. His main aim is to prevent accidents, injuries and work-related illnesses in the workplace. He plans to create and implement health and safety policies and to ensure that these policies are observed by both management and employees.

Whilst striving to maintain OSHA, state, local and industry specific compliance Ronnie will conduct periodic safety audits including safety orientations, skill training, emergency preparedness, proper job instruction, hazardous material disposal procedures, and the use of protective equipment.

Ronnie is a strong communicator and has received specific training for this role. He has studied the basics of occupational health and safety (OSHA 10), Construction Industry Outreach (OSHA 30), holds a SSH certificate in Construction & General Industry, and a CSHO certificate in construction. All of his training has aided Ronnie in developing exceptional problem-solving skills.

Exhibiting a genuine concern for people and leading by example Ronnie is able to earn the respect of colleagues and employees alike. He believes that the role of safety officer is more than a job, it's a vocation.

Field Operations Management License

Oscar Medina, Field Operations Manager for NEU Plumbing, has over 20 years experience in the plumbing construction industry. He has extensive knowledge of Institutional projects as well as experience managing large, complex projects in excess of $10MM. Oscar began his career as a Plumbing Apprentice and grew into positions including Lead Man and Field Supervisor.

An established track-record for successful project management and a demonstrable skillset in the trade has afforded Oscar the opportunity to mentor team members enabling them to excel and earn accolades within the Company.

Oscar values family and attributes his success to the priorities in his life, wife Horalia and three talented children. He and his family enjoy playing soccer, traveling and riding UTV's.

As Estimator at NEU Plumbing, Juan develops pre-construction estimates. He is skilled in predicting construction project duration, managing tight deadlines, finding cost-effective solutions to common and complex construction challenges. Diligent, resourceful and an organized team player Juan uses on site experience and practical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and resources to provide considered estimates.

Juan's hands-on experience encompasses remodels to multi-faceted commercial projects; a fundamental cog in the smooth movement of the NEU machine.

When Juan is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family and exploring new culinary experiences. Juan views a day outdoors, as a day well spent.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Curtis Hoenig, CPA As Controller of Neu Plumbing, Inc., Curtis manages the accounting and financial operations ensuring that the business generates a positive net cash flow. He also oversees the human resources team managing compensation, benefits, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, organizational development and company culture. Curtis's controls the 'backend' operation of the business contributing to the continued success of NEU Plumbing.

With more than two decades of accounting experience, Curtis delineates financial policy, planning, budget preparation and cost control. His métier is to keep the company on track and monitoring financial activity. With a background in the construction industry he has extensive knowledge of financial reporting, federal/state filings, and taxation. Curtis has built and supports a remarkable NEU team whose role is to assess the success of various business processes never losing sight of goals, customer expectations and NEU's competitive advantage in the marketplace.

Curtis graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting Control Systems and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 2006.

When Curtis is not actively engaged in strategic plans for business success, he enjoys outdoor activities such as camping, bicycling, fishing and astronomy.

LaVern Neu brings over 18 years of experience in Supervision and Management to her Project Manager role at NEU Plumbing. She encourages teamwork, ensuring that strategy flourishes whilst overseeing performance and nurturing morale. Her strong communication and client service skills enhance NEUs' superior work quality and customer centric philosophy.

LaVern's prior experience in Project Management, Manufacturing & Quality Supervision has informed a well-rounded skill set; she has also owned and managed her own new construction business. She identifies key elements from this experience to formulate corrective/ preventative actions and to formulate policies that are both empirical and efficient.

LaVern's experience with tools such as Lean methodology, Accelerated Improvement Workshops, Just in Time, Continuous Quality Improvement, 5S, Ishikawa, and PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, & Act) has evinced a particular affinity for ethical principles. Her approach to team-mentoring utilizes didactic methods and she has an excellent owner/architect/engineer track record. Onsite teams ignore her grit and determination at their peril!

LaVern enjoys horticulture, cuisine, travel, as well as spending time with her son and family in Indianapolis, Indiana. Her faith in God has engendered strong core values with emphases in honesty, integrity and work ethic.
